Paper Requirements


  1. Papers may be written in Bulgarian, English or Russian.
  2. There will be no additional editing or correction of the accepted papers. Authors bear the responsibility for the content of their papers.
  3. Papers should be submitted in Microsoft Word file type (doc or docx) with the following formatting:
    • Total length of the paper: should not exceed 8 pages, including all figures, tables, references, abstract and keywords.
    • Page setup: À4, Orientation: Portrait; Margins: Top – 2.3 cm, Bottom – 2 cm, Left – 2.5 cm, Right – 2 cm; Footer – 1 cm. Page numbers – bottom, centered.
    • Title: Font: Arial, Font style: Bold, Size: 16 pt; Alignment: Center; Line spacing: 1.5.
    • Author(s): leave one empty line under the title and give the following author information – academic title, scientific degree, name and surname of author(s); on a new line enter author affiliation and e-mail – Font: Arial, Size: 14 pt, Font style: Regular; Alignment: Center.
    • Abstract and keywords: leave one empty line under the author(s) and write the abstract – limit to 8 rows; after the abstract enter up to 5 keywords – Font: Times New Roman, Size: 14 pt, Font style: Regular, Alignment: Justify; Line spacing: 1.5; Special/First Line: 2 cm.
    • Main text: after the keywords leave one empty line and start the main text pf the paper – Font: Times New Roman, Size: 14 pt; Line spacing: 1.5; Alignment: Justified, Special/First Line: 2 cm.
    • Figures: âshould be inserted at the appropriate place within the text boundaries; the figure number and title should be positioned below the figures – Font: Times New Roman, Size: 14 pt; Alignment: Center.
    • Tables: table number should be positioned above the table – Font: Times New Roman, Size: 14 pt; Alignment: Right; and on a new line the table title – Font: Times New Roman, Size: 14 pt; Alignment: Center.
    • References: within the text with footnotes numbered from 1 to n.
    • List of references: should be numbered and arranged alphabetically by first author’s surname, according to bibliographic standards.
  4. Papers should be submitted to the conference e-mail: confinf2014@ue-varna.bg before the deadline.

Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with ISBN code. Papers will not be published in the following cases: if they do not meet the paper requirements, if they are not submitted before to the deadline, if they are not presented at the conference, or if their authors have not paid the participation fee.
